Just outside Paris, in the beautiful suburb of Soisy-sous-Montmorency, France, a remarkable Jewish transformation has been quietly unfolding for nearly two decades.

When the Abrahami family first arrived, the community was small, older, and largely unaffiliated. The very first Simchas Torah they organized — not a single person came.

Today, each Shabbos approximately 75 people fill the shul — the majority fully observant — with dozens of children adding vibrant energy to the room. On Yom Kippur and Chanukah, attendance climbs to nearly 500.

The community is young and steadily growing. New families move in regularly, drawn by the warmth and authentic Torah life that has been built with patience and dedication.

For years, only one woman in the community covered her hair. Today, that number continues to grow. Each Rosh Chodesh, over 100 women gather to learn together. Weekly shiurim, youth programs, and after-school initiatives are thriving

And yet — one essential element is still missing.

A MIKVAH.

The nearest mikvah is a 25-minute drive away in Sarcelles.

Month after month, nearly 100 families make the journey. The need for a local mikvah is real — and the community is ready

After 1.5 years of waiting, building permits have been secured. A 2,400-square-meter property has been purchased, laying the groundwork for a permanent Jewish campus that will include a beautiful shul and a state-of-the-art mikvah.

This project represents the next chapter in a story that began with one family and a dream.

Now, the foundation is being laid for the future of Taharas Hamishpacha in Soisy-sous-Montmorency — ensuring that this growing community has everything it needs to flourish for generations to come.
