Mikvah Tahara Association builds and restores mikvaos for Jewish communities around the world. This notice explains what personal information we collect from donors and visitors to this website, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
Name, email address, phone number, postal address, donation amount and currency, and any dedication or message the donor writes.
Card details
We never see or store card numbers. Card entry happens inside fields hosted by our payment provider; we receive only a single-use token. We keep the last four digits so donors can recognise their own gift.
Why we hold it
To process donations, send receipts and year-end tax statements, keep the records a registered charity must keep, and send campaign updates to people who asked for them.
Who we share it with
Only our payment provider, email provider and donor-management system. We do not sell donor information and do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent is not shared with any third parties.
If you give us your mobile number and opt in to text messages, we use it only to send the messages you asked for. Reply STOP at any time to end texts, or HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply.
How long we keep it
As long as charity accounting and tax rules require.
Your choices
Donors may ask what we hold, correct it, or request deletion of anything not legally required. Reply STOP to end texts; use the unsubscribe link on any email.
